Adam lives in the Town of Chevy Chase with his wife and three children. Adam is a University of Michigan and Georgetown University Law Center graduate. A five-generation Greater Washington area family, the Goozh's have a deep-rooted, local real estate development and residential construction history. Adam spent twelve years in the technology and venture capital sectors where he developed expertise in process management and fiscal transparency. With a passion for construction and real estate development, however, Adam entered the residential construction and development industry in 2009. Soon after, Adam was invited by the founders of Sandy Spring Builders (SSB) to join the firm as a partner.
For eight years he launched and grew SSB's renovation and remodeling group and implemented the company's first construction management software solution. After eight successful years, Adam and his team left SSB to found Chesapeake Custom Homes & Development. The goal was simple, be a skilled, high-quality residential construction company that truly partners with the homeowners to build unique properties and to do so in a creative, transparent, cost-effective manner. Most importantly, the team would be focused on only a few projects at a time and not spread thin across many.
